Caledonia High School Athletics

The girls soccer teams headed north last Friday night to face off with the 2022 defending state champs. It was another defensive battle but the Scots were able to escape with a 1-0 win over Forest Hills Central. The game started off slow but senior Gracie Gortmaker was able to score the Scots lone goal of the game off of a give and go from fellow senior Jocelyn Herrema and that proved to be all Caledonia needed to picked up their first win of the season. The junior varsity team also beat the Rangers 2-1. The girls are backed in action tonight as they head to Cedar Springs to face the RedHawks.
