Caledonia High School Athletics

Yesterday afternoon the girls soccer team traveled to MSA Fieldhouse to face the Sailors in what was a defensive battle. The game started off slow as neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first half. Senior Gracie Gortmaker had the Scots only shot in the first half that hit the crossbar. The Scots and the Sailors were knotted at zero after 40 minutes of play. South Christian scored the game's first and only goal ten minutes into half number two as that lone goal proved to be all that the Sailors needed.The JV team also fell 1-0 to South Christian. Tomorrow Caledonia will head to Forest Hills Central to face the Rangers.
