Caledonia High School Athletics

The Caledonia boys competed and turned in a great performance at the Coach B - TK Invitational on Monday night! The team had a perfect score of 15 points against the field. The Fighting Scots had the first 11 runners across the line and 19 of the top 25 medalists in their division of the race! Congrats go to Sean Thompson on winning the race overall. The Scots top 7 were: Thompson (16:22.5), Bennett Snapper (16:37.3), Bentley Nichols (16:57.1), Cole McKenna (16:58.3), Jake Potgeter (17:23.7), Jonah Nagel (17:29.5), and Grant Feldpausch (17:33.9). The Fighting Scots are excited to travel to the Ottawa Hills Invitational on Friday evening to include 6 of the top 10 teams in the State right now. The ladies had 11 medalists on the evening: Akaela Daman, 1st; Kendall Van Ryn, 6th; Anna VanderWal, 7th; Charlie Bont, 8th; Tiona Sakala, 9th; Elise Clarin, 10th; Madison Trompen, 14th; Sophia Danks, 21st; Addisyn Gerken, 21st; Meghan Venhuizen, 22nd; Eve Boersma, 25th.
