Caledonia High School Athletics

The Caledonia ladies cross country team kicked off the OK Green season with a league jamboree Wednesday night with some really great performances as they showed up to compete! Jenison won the meet with 30 points, but the Fighting Scots were close behind with 36 points. Leading the ladies in varsity positions were Akaela Daman (3rd), Kendall Van Ryn (4th), Anna VanderWal (8th), Charlie Bont (9th), Tiona Sakala (12th), Maddison Trompen (19th), and Cora Draft (28th) Complete results can be found here: https://www.athletic.net/CrossCountry/meet/273579/results/1090739 The Caledonia boys had a tough night, as a team, in the first jamboree of the OK Green Conference season. Jenison took first place with 16 points to Caledonia's 45 points in 2nd place. The team was led by Bennett Snapper (5th), Cole McKenna (7th), and Sean Thompson (8th). The team will look to get back to work in preparation for 2 meets next week on Monday and Friday. Congrats go to Jakub Zradzil, Will Angus, and Sampson Aamanuel, who ran PR's on the night.
