The Caledonia boys Track and Field team traveled to Rockford High School to compete in the MHSAA State Finals. The team had 5 boys that qualified from the Regional meet 2 weeks ago that were competing. The day started with Ben Moss competing in the Pole Vault. Ben cleared his first height of 12' 3'' to place 22nd overall. Next up was the 4x800 relay team composed of Sean Thompson, Bennett Snapper, Luke Smith, and Noah Johnston who ran 8:03.01 for 19th place. Noah Johnston had a BIG day also running the 1600 and 3200. In the 1600 Noah placed 9th, 3 tenths of a second from an All State place. To finish the day Noah ran the 3200. He ran a 9:48.64 to place 35th out of 40. There were very few boys that ran all 3 of the longest distance races on the track today. Hats off to Noah for his great performances mentally and physically!
