Caledonia High School Athletics

The Caledonia ladies track & field team stepped up in so many ways at the MHSAA State Finals at Rockford High School on Saturday! The ladies took all of their hard work and translated it into great results to finish the season! 100m Dash- Brynn Ward entered the meet seeded in 19th place and moved up to place 15th in the state! 100m Hurdles- Olivia Hawkins entered the meet seeded 13th and battled some interference during the race to hit her seed place, taking 13th in the state! 4x200m Relay- Averi Rosted, Addisyn Gerken, Isla Sheely, and Brynn Ward entered the meet seeded 22nd and moved up to place 14th in the state! This time was a new school record, breaking their own school record by .8s! 4x100m Relay- Averi Rosted, Addisyn Gerken, Isla Sheely, and Brynn Ward entered the meet seeded 17th and ended up placing 17th place, with the 2nd fastest time in school history, just a few tenths behind their own school record set just last week. 300m Hurdles- Olivia Hawkins entered the meet seeded in 17th place and moved up to take 13th in the state! This is the second fastest time in Caledonia history, just a few tenths behind her own school record set just last week.
