Depth in the Program Leads to Victory

The Caledonia boys track and field team showed their true team depth coming from behind in the last 3 events of the night to claim the Hastings Invitational title! The meet was scored with team scoring which means all 3 boys in each event score points. There were great performances all over the track and in the field. The Scots outlasted Hudsonville by a score of 1371.5 to 1355.5. Medalists included (top 6): 100 Meters - Jayden McCoy 200 Meters - Levi Dorband 400 Meters - Aaron Collins 800 Meters - Grant Feldpausch, Bentley Nichols 1600 Meters - Noah Johnston, Bennett Snapper 3200 Meters - Noah Johnston, Bennett Snapper 110M Hurdles - Brecken Byrd 300M Hurdles - Brecken Byrd, Jonas Howell 4x100 Relay - Levi Dorband, Capree Thomas, Connor Myers, Jayden McCoy 4x200 Relay - Robert Restau, Miles Grengs, Connor Myers, Sean Harney 4x400 Relay - Aaron Collins, Luke Smith, Brecken Byrd, Grand Feldpausch 4x800 Relay - Luke Smith, Bennett Snapper, Eli Velting, Noah Johnston Shot Put - Cody Myers Discus - Cody Myers, Liam Moore Pole Vault - Bentley Nichols, Cohen Bloem Long Jump - Colton Heyboer The Scots take on Reeths Puffer at home on Tuesday next week.
