Thompsonville, MI — "The LMSC is a tough conference and it is helping us to grow as a team. Today, we won GS by one point and Glen Lake won slalom by three points giving them a two point victory at the meet. I am not sure Caledonia has been in a meet that close since the 2017 Regional meet where our guys qualified for the State Meet by a four point margin edging out Onekema." Coach Petrosky " It has been a great season, we are proud of everything this group of guys has accomplished and look forward to our last two races." "This team has 7 four year skiers which is the most in one class we have ever had. All of our seniors skied great this season and are outstanding people. Their dedication to our sport and to their team stands out as one of their greatest accomplishments and we will miss all of them next year. Whether they started or skied JV their entire career, they have made an impact on our team with their leadership on the slopes and in the classroom. Derick Prichard, Peter Calhoun, Gavin Dean, James Diegel, Max Doll, Brennan Donnelly, Rydik Wrubel and Love Lindqvist (our senior exchange student) are all great skiers, great students and great kids--well young adults- and we will miss them and their contributions to our team." Coach Petrosky Earning All Conference Honors this season were: Jackson Otto (5th), Jake Potgeter (7th), James Prichard (8th), Aidan Brown (9th), Peter Calhoun (10th), Derick Prichard (11th), Justin Harper (12th) and James Diegel (14th). The LMSC Championship race awards medals to the top ten finishers in each event. Scoring in GS were: Jake Potgeter (4th), James Prichard (5th), Aidan Brown (7th) and Jackson Otto (8th). Scoring in slalom were: Jake Potgeter (4th), Jackson Otto (5th), James Prichard (6th) and Aidan Brown (8th). The Scots have the Caledonia Invitational on Friday and the State Final on Monday, to close out their season.
