Thompsonville, MI — "Our girls have really had a great season. We have seen a lot of improvement and I believe that next season will be a breakout season for our team. Our returning skiers provided a ton of leadership and our new skiers are improving every run. I am proud of everyone's effort and there is a lot to be happy with at the end of our conference season. We had five all conference skiers, Kylee Zimmerer (4th place), Salome Rouhier (9th place), Madison Reynolds (11th), Ada Decker ( 12th) and freshmen Ellie Radel (14th). " Coach Petrosky "Another highlight from the season was Kylee finishing all of her conference runs in the top five, which ties her for second place in that category in the Ski Team's records. She is tied with Chiara Marta and Madelyn Darby, who each finished one season with 100% top five finishes and trails Coach Emily Petrosky, who had three seasons with 100% top five finishes. Kylee also moved to number three on the career top five finishes in conference races. Kylee currently has 15 top five finishes in her career and is only trailing Madelyn Darby by one top five finish." The top ten in each event were awarded medals at the Conference Championship race . Scoring for Caledonia in slalom were Kylee Zimmerer (4th), Ada Decker (8th), Salome Rouhier (11th) and Ellie Radel (12th). Scoring in giant slalom were Kylee Zimmerer (3rd), Ellie Radel (8th), Ada Decker (11th) and Madison Reynolds (12th). The team's final race is the Caledonia Invitational, which is Friday Feb 20th at Crystal Mountain. Kylee Zimmerer will be racing in the MHSAA D2 State Finals at Schuss Mountain on Monday Feb 23rd.
