Thompsonville, MI — Wednesday night the Scots traveled to Crystal Mountain to compete in their second conference meet of the season. It was a beautiful snowy evening that was packed with great runs. The boys team skied well but just wasn't fast enough to get past Glen Lake. "Coming into the season, we knew that Glen Lake was the team to beat in our conference. We snuck past them the first two times we raced but tonight they brought their A game, scoring a perfect score in GS and they were close in slalom. Our guys skied great tonight but we just didn't have the same level of speed. We place 7th through 12th in GS and 5th through 10th in slalom, which are very solid finishes that shows how deep we are." Coach Petrosky " Tonight, Jackson Otto lead us in both events and we had 5 of our 8 starters score at the meet. We had some great runs by our JV skiers, who were led by Max Doll and James Diegel. I am extremely happy with how well the entire team is skiing most we have some great skiers coming up through the program." Scoring for the Scots were Jackson Otto (5th SL & 7th GS), James Prichard (6th SL & 10th GS), Aidan Brown (7th SL & 8th GS), Jake Potgeter ( 9th GS) and Peter Calhoun (8th SL). The Scots next race is a LMSC race on Wednesday Jan 28th at Crystal Mountain.
