Thompsonville, MI — Kylee Zimmerer led the Caledonia girls ski team at Monday’s Bryan Groenevelt Memorial Race at Crystal Mountan. She earned medals for her 5th place slalom finish and her 6th place giant slalom finish. “Monday’s race had one of the best groups of female skiers you will see outside of the state finals. The division 1 state champion, Neave Rewa, and a bunch all state skiers from division two all raced at this Invitational, so Kylee’s finishes today were extra special. She has really pushed herself and her hard work is paying off. We are excited to see how the rest of the season ends up for her and for the girls team.” Coach Petrosky “They really skied well and our new skiers are gaining some valuable experience at these races. One of our freshmen, Olivia Yonker, scored her first points of her career which is exciting for the future of our girls team. “ Scoring for the Scots in slalom were Kylee Zimmerer (5th), French exchange student Salome Rouhier (20th), Madison Reynolds (23rd) and Olivia Yonker (33rd). Scoring in giant slalom were Zimmerer (6th), Madison Reynolds (20th), Ada Decker (24th) and Salome Rouhier (25th). 1st GR Christian 79.5 2nd Grand Haven 106 3rd Clare 107 4th Glen Lake 108.5 5th Caledonia 156 6th Onekema 163 7th Lake Charlevoix 183.5 8th Mt Pleasant 328.5 9th Harrison No Team Score
