Thompsonville, MI — Caledonia’s girls ski team started its season Wednesday with its first Lake Michigan Ski Conference race at Crystal Mountain. The team ended up third in an incredibly close race. “Our girls really skied well tonight. The Lake Michigan Ski Conference has some incredible female skiers and Kylee Zimmerer proved that she is one of them at this race. Kylee placed 3rd in slalom and 5th in giant slalom to lead our team.” Coach Petrosky. “We saw a bunch of great performances tonight, despite the tough racing conditions due to the warm weather.” Also scoring for the Scots was Madison Reynolds (7th SL & 7th GS), Salome Roucher (8th SL & 8th GS), and Ada Decker (10th SL and 10th GS). The Scots have a busy upcoming schedule with the Grand Haven Invitiational at Crystal Mountain on Friday Jan 9th, the Bryan Groenevelt Memorial Race at Crystal Mountain on Monday Jan 12th and another LMSC race on Wednesday Jan 14th.
