Thompsonville, MI — The boys ski team traveled to Crystal Mountain to compete in the first Lake Michigan Ski Conference ski meet of the season and ended winning its first conference meet since switching conferences. “We are extremely proud of how our guys skied tonight. We knew we had a chance for the win coming into the race and then the GS times came in and Justin Harper was 3rd, James Prichard was 4th, Jackson Otto was 5th and Aidan Brown was sixth we knew tonight was our night.“ Coach Petrosky “As good as our GS scores were, our slalom clump of scores covered 4th place through 11th place pushing back our competitors next scoring skiers, allowing our team to win the meet.” Scoring in slalom were Jake Potgeter 4th, Aidan Brown 5th, Jackson Otto 6th and Peter Calhoun 7th. The Scots have a busy schedule with the Grand Haven Invitiational at Crystal Mountain on Friday Jan 9th, the Bryan Groenevelt Memorial Race at Crystal Mountain on Monday Jan 12th and another LMSC race on Wednesday Jan 14th.
