The BWMS 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team hosted the Lincoln Lions last night, and the Dogs came ready for the challenge. They set the tone early with relentless ball pressure, holding Lincoln to just six first-half points and making them earn every look. Tjay Jordan and Will Walters led the defensive charge, and the rest of the squad followed with equally stingy play. The Dogs didn’t let up after the break either, limiting the Lions to a single three-pointer in the third quarter as they pulled away for their first win of the season, 35–17. Logan Downs came off the bench and delivered a game-high in points along with seven rebounds. Walters added six points of his own while pulling down six boards. Grayson Gee also gave the Dogs a huge spark off the bench—taking a charge just as Lincoln tried to rally, then drilling a three on the next possession to put the game out of reach for good.
