The Brownsburg Bulldogs 7th grade baseball team put on a show Thursday night, cruising past Zionsville West with a convincing 7-1 victory. Harlan Millbern got the start on the mound and set the tone early, tossing 3 solid innings while allowing just 1 run and striking out 3. After that, it was Reid Pfledderer. Coming in for relief, Pfledderer was lights-out, throwing 4 shutout innings and racking up an impressive 8 strikeouts to slam the door. At the plate, the Bulldogs came to play. Jordan Lynch led the offensive charge, going 3-for-4 and delivering big hits when it mattered most. Brayden Dietz added two hits of his own, keeping the pressure on Zionsville’s pitching staff. Reid Pfledderer helped his own cause with a hit, while Camden Folk and James Caulfield each chipped in with one as well. Davis Mitchell was the spark plug for the Bulldogs’ offense — crossing the plate twice and working three walks to keep the momentum rolling throughout the game. The 7th grade Bulldogs are rolling — and they're just getting started! Next game Monday 4/21 at Cascade.
