Brownsburg East Middle School

Brownsburg East and Zionsville Middle School played to a hard-fought 8-8 tie in a game filled with early momentum and late-inning mistakes. Bryon Young impressed on the mound for the Bulldogs, giving up just 2 runs over 3 innings while striking out 4. Jordan Lynch came on in relief, pitching 2 innings, giving up 2 earned runs, and notching 1 strikeout. At the plate, Brayden Dietz powered the offense, going 3-for-4 with an RBI. Harlan Millbern and Bryon Young also contributed, each going 1-for-3 with an RBI and a walk. Brownsburg East took an early lead, but a combination of defensive errors and walks allowed Zionsville to rally and even the score late in the game. The Bulldogs return to action on April 17th at home at 5:30 PM against Zionsville West.
