Brownsburg East Middle School

After a tough stretch of weather, the East Boys Golf Team was finally able to hit the links, facing a talented Zionsville team at Zionsville Golf Course. While the Dogs fell to the Eagles 184-174, the boys played well. Xander Tippmann led the way with a 42, earning Co-Match Medalist honors. Eli Miller shot a solid 43. Others with counting scores were Levi Armstrong (48) and Korbin Brown (51). Kyler Bell (54) and Logan Hall (63) also got in some valuable experience in a varsity match. Leading the way in the JV match was David Griggs with a 59 - a great round considering it was his first-ever golf competition. Other JV scores were Rylan Smith (60), Hank “Taco Bell” Prentice (60), Eli Rogers (63), Jackson Lehe (69), and Garrett Stull (72). The Dogs will get a few days to work on their short game in preparation for another match at the same course, this time vs Zionsville West on Thursday.
