Brownsburg East Middle School

The BBE 8th Grade Girls Basketball team had an impressive performance in their first home game, securing a 37-12 victory against Zionsville West. The girls jumped to an early lead, with Ava Emberton leading the charge, scoring 15 points. Payton Brodnik added 8 points and played standout defense, while Rylee Amt, Makenzie Dove, and Alli Keel each contributed 4 points. Thakiya Gault made a strong impact off the bench, grabbing rebounds and adding 2 points. The Bulldogs held a commanding 25-8 lead at halftime and maintained control throughout the second half. The victory improves their record to 2-0. The Bulldogs will next face Avon at home on Thursday, January 16th, at 6:30 pm.
