Brownsburg East Middle School

The ladies traveled to an ironically warm Cool Lake Golf Club on Tuesday to face Western Boone. The ladies found the short course setup very much to their liking, beating the host Stars 179-222. This is the lowest 9-hole score by an East Girls team in more than eight years! For her first time ever, Laila Leaman was Match Medalist with a personal best 43, including a tap-in birdie on the Par 5 5th hole. Yay Laila! She was followed by Kate Cornwell and Ashlyn Martin (personal best), who each shot a 45 in rounds that also included a birdie. Rachel Rhoades posted her personal best in competition, carding a 46. Also playing well for the Dogs were Emery Mygrant (55) and Ava Wilson (59) - a personal best for Ava. The ladies will next see action on Monday, when they host an always-talented Westfield team.
