Brownsburg East Middle School

The Lady Dogs traveled to Oak Tree Golf Course to play Avon South. On a beautiful evening, the ladies played a long and challenging Back 9. With balanced scoring, East won by a score of 225-243. Kate Cornwell led the Dogs with a 54. Rachel Rhoades hit a bomb of a putt on 18, finishing with a 56. After a few late-round struggles, Emery Mygrant finished strong, shooting a 57. Contributing to the team score for the first time this season was Ashlyn Martin, posting a well-played round of 58. Laila Leaman (59) had a great par on the tough 18th hole. Playing in her first varsity match ever, Ava Dunbar hit several great shots and showed significant improvement from the start of the season. On Wednesday, the ladies return to Prestwick as they host Avon North.
