Brownsburg East Middle School

On Tuesday, Brownsburg East Girls Golf played host at Prestwick for the first time this season. It was a beautiful evening and the ladies from both teams had a fun match, with the Quakers edging out the Dogs 209-221. Leading the way for East was Kate Cornwell with a 50, missing out on match medalist by a single stroke. Laila Leaman continues to improve, coming in with a 56. Rachel Rhoades (57) and Emery Mygrant (58) completed the team scoring. Also competing in the match were Ashlyn Martin (66) and Ava Wilson (69). Special thanks to Coach Johns’ wife, Donna, who crafted special tee markers for our home matches! The Lady Dogs get a few days to hone their skills as they prepare for their match at Zionsville next Monday.
