Your 7th grade Bulldogs battled hard tonight in the heat at Center Grove Central. Our Defense came to play from the beginning of the game and held the Trojans to a 3 and out. The offense hit hard on the very next play with Elliott Hollingsworth hitting pay-dirt on the nights longest play of the game. We failed to convert our extra point and the score was 6-0. The next drive Center Grove Central put together a drive and scored on a pass play and converted their extra point run. Score was then 8-6. The offense went stagnant the rest of the game. Elliott had a few more good runs. The defense held their own though not allowing another point but the 2 point differential was all that was needed tonight. Final score was 8-6. Sonny Hernandez and Divine Onyeabor put in some noteworthy work on Defense tonight, as did the usual stud performers Trenton Kivett and Aaron Mosley. On Special Teams, Stephen Akinrolabu shut everything down against the Trojans. Greatdaniel Odole destructed a ball carrier causing a turnover and Karter Winston recovered the fumble. We need a huge fan turnout for our next home game on Thursday 9/10 to help get us back on track. Go Dogs!
