The Lady Lion Softball team finally reached double digits in hits & runs enroute to a 12-0 victory in 5 innings at Triton on Wednesday. The Lions scored in four of the five innings, plating 3 in the 1st, 4 in the 2nd on back to back to back home runs by Eliana Grubbs, starting pitch Chrissy Grabowski, and Delainey Neher, then 2 runs in the 3rd & 3 more in the 5th. Neher lead the offense with 4 hits including a single, two doubles & the aforementioned home run. Grubbs, Grabowski, Isabella Calentine each had two hits each. Kenzie Scott, Alyssia Lopez, Madi Milleman, and Macie Binkley all added hits as well. Lead off hitter Nicelu for the Trojans had an infield hit, Doll walked & was forced out for the only Triton runners to reach base. Grabowski struck out 5 in 3 innings & Grubbs struck out four in 2 innings.
