The Lions of Bremen headed to West Noble to take on the Chargers in a Tuesday matchup of a rivalry that sparked during the Regional finals numerous years before. The intensity of the game was incredibly high from the opening whistle and didn't let down in either half of play. The Lions were able to dominate much of the first half and create numerous scoring chances, but couldn't find the back of the net as the Chargers keeper made big saves to keep his team in the game. West Noble got a late goal and headed into halftime up 1-0. The second half would be more back and forth, but the Lions found the back of the net almost immediately to tie the game 1-1. Shortly after scoring, the Lions gave up a PK and then a third goal in quick succession. The Chargers shooting picked up in the second half and they found the back of the net twice more with two incredible shots. The Lions fought back to find a second goal and although they created other chances, were unable to find a finishing touch.
