The Lions made a statement at home Thursday night in their first conference game of the season beating Tippecanoe Valley 14 - 0. Going into the game, the team was focused on producing more goal scoring opportunities and increasing their effectiveness in front of goal. It didn't take long for their training to pay dividends as the first goal would be scored in less than 5 minutes with 10 more following in the first half. A young group of Lions took the pitch in the second half and picked up where the team had left off putting away another three goals. It was certainly a breakout game for the Lions and a statement of intent for the Conference season.
