The Lions of the Bremen Boys Soccer team entered into game 2 of the Northwood Invitational facing Manchester and wanting to prove their resilience and ability to rebound quickly. It didn't take long for the boys to prove what they were capable of as senior captain Jared Alvarado scored only 5 minutes into the game on a penalty kick he earned on a shot blocked by a defender's hand. The scoring floodgates opened for the team as Alex Gallegos and Remi Elliott also scored followed by another goal by Alvarado. Freshmen Lincoln Yoder and Josue Pepin both had assists as well as sophomore Alan Barrera. The boys continued pushing hard in the second half and added two more goals through pressure applied by Alvarado and Isaac Gallegos. The defensive line was stalwart throughout the game and was able to keep a clean sheet.
