Bremen Athletics

Bremen hosted the Indiana Northern States Conference track meet on Monday night. Spectators and athletes enjoyed the comfortable temperature and despite a few rain sprinkles it was enjoyable weather. The top two athletes from each school were invited to compete in the conference championship. The Bremen girls placed 5th overall while the Bremen boys placed 2nd as a team. Many athletes had great performances, but the last race of the boys season ended up being an all time middle-school record. The 4 x 400m relay team of Espen Simpson, Gabe Kline, Isaac Garber and Jake Rodriguez broke the previous record by over 2 seconds with a time of 3:59!
