Bremen Athletics

It took 9 innings & the Lady Lions received their 12th & final walk to Bella Calentine with bases loaded to force in Eliana Grubbs that reached second on two errors with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th. Tiff of Glenn struck out 12 Lions however after Bremen allowed a run in the top of the first, Bremen scored 3 runs in the bottom of the frame. A solo home run by Kline in the 2nd was all the scoring until the 5th when Bremen’s Kenzie Scott lead off with a hit by pitch and scored on a ground out by Peyton Johnson. Glenn battled back with 2 runs in the top of the 7th & the scored stayed the same at 4 each until the Lions finally scratched across a run in the bottom of the 9th. Winning pitcher and Senior Chrissy Grabowski had 2 hits, as did her battery mate Senior Delainey Neher. Madi Milleman and Senior Macie Binkley each had a hit for the Lions as well. It was a great Lion victory on Senior Night!
