Bremen Athletics

The Bremen track team hosted New Prairie on a beautiful Thursday evening. Although the Girls (33-67) and Boys (44-65) teams lost, many athletes got personal bests in their events. The Girls with top 3 finishes were Lili Cullen with 1st place in shot put and discus; Lia Waidner with 2nd in Shot Put and 3rd in Discus; Maycee Grubbs with 3rd in High Jump; Kenley Martinez with 3rd in 100m dash, and 3rd in 200m Hurdles; Grace Moyer 1st in 1600m and 1st in 800m; Braelyn Mammon 3rd in 800m; and Lola Bender with 1st in the 200m dash. Boys with top 3 finishes were Brenden Rice with 1st place in Shot Put and Discus; Isaac Garber got 2nd in high jump; Josue Pepin was 2nd in the 100m dash, 3rd in Long jump, and 2nd in the 200m dash; Logan Laidig was 2nd in 110m hurdles; Cameron Krallman got 3rd in the 1600m; Gabe Kline was 1st in the 200m hurdles and 3rd in the 400m dash; 6th graders swept the 800m run with Camron Urbina in 1st, Brady Stuzman in 2nd, and Tony Loomis in 3rd. Great job Lions! The next meet will be at Bremen as they host Triton on Monday at 5pm.
