Bremen Athletics

The Mighty Lions of Bremen traveled to Culver Academy on Wednesday and experienced beautiful weather, a spectacular crowd, and fantastic competition as they faced INSC rival Jimtown and sectional rival Culver Academy. Although the team was missing several athletes in events, it didn't slow down their competitive spirit as they were able to fight for two victories on the night and witness senior Luke Kincaid break his 4th record, the second in less than a week. The boys produced several season best and even personal best performances, highlighted by Kincaid's incredible effort in the 800 meter run with a 1:57.73 besting the record set in 1984 by Ed Starr. Kincaid now holds the 800, 1600, and 3200 run records and was part of the record setting 4x800 relay last season. The boys will be back in action Saturday at Goshen High School for the Goshen Relays starting at 9 am.
