Bremen Athletics

The 7th grade girls basketball team fell to a strong Fairfield team by a score of 30-13. Scoring for the lions were Peyton Rodriguez 8 Mihayla Bettcher 5 The team record stands at 5-2. The 8th grade girls played tough defense and went into halftime 5-5. The team continued to hussle, but could not get the offense going in a 13-9 loss. Brynn Stahley led the team in scoring with 5 points and stepped into the point guard role as Blakeleigh Soliz was out with illness. Also scoring for the Lions was Lia Waidner and Mallorie McManis each with 2 points. The Lions will travel to Knox on Thursday for a 6pm tip off.
