Bremen Athletics

The Bremen boys 5th grade basketball team traveled to Olive Elementary Tuesday evening where the A team got back on track with a win 23-18. B team battled all game long, but were unable to come home with the win, losing 28-18. Both teams were able to move the ball well and had a balanced scoring attack tonight. Everyone was able to contribute on the A team. Rome Williams and Michael Byer each had 2, Gaehl Arias had 3, Zeke Rohde had 4, and Peter Varner and Allen Andujar both led with 6. Scoring was also balanced in the B game with Bobby Suhanosky, Jase Garrett, Byer, Andujar, and Williams all with 2 while Lucas Castillo led the way tonight with a season high, 8 points. The mighty lions will finish up their regular season at Akron Elementary Wednesday evening before traveling to North Liberty Elementary on Saturday for the A and B tournaments. Let's finish the season strong boys!
