Bremen Athletics

The 5th grade boys basketball team faced Mentone Elementary at home tonight, and lost a tough, close battle in the end 20-18. The lions were able to hold a lead for most of the game, but Mentone was able to keep the game close and ultimately they were able to score the last basket for the win. Lions scoring was lead by Allen Andujar with 9 and Gaehl Arias with 8. Rome Williams will able to add on a point for lions. The B game was only 2 quarters tonight and ended in a 6 to 6 tie. Jase Garrett was able to lead the offense and find the open man for good shot opportunities. Scoring in the B game was led by Sebastian Sanchez with 4 and then Lucas Castillo with 2. The lions are right back in action tomorrow but will travel to Culver Community.
