Boone County High School is excited to announce that the next girls head soccer coach will be Ben Lighthall. Lighthall has been making an impact on soccer in Northern Kentucky through his work at Fusion FC, which he co-founded in 2016. While managing the remarkable growth of the Club as President, Director of Coaching, and coaching the club's Women's Amateur team, he has also worked as a coach with boys and girls of all ages and skill levels. Lighthall has more than a decade of experience. His girls' teams have made multiple appearances in USYS State and Regional championships and won a BPYSL State division championship in 2023-2024. He has developed players that have entered the Olympic Development Program and played at the college level. Lighthall holds a US Soccer Provisional C coaching license. Lighthall’s investment in area soccer, his experience developing a wide range of players, and his deep understanding of coaching girls make him a great fit for the program. Please join us Wednesday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center to meet Coach Lightall. Welcome to Boone County High School, Coach Lighthall.
