Angel Miller will be the next head softball coach at Boone County

Boone County High School is excited to announce that the next girls softball coach will be Angel Miller. Miller has been coaching for more than 20 years, and previously served as the head softball coach from 2003 to 2009. During that time, the team won a district title and finished three times as regional runner-up. Miller steps into the head position after serving as assistant coach last season. Miller has been the girls bowling coach since 2019, where she has had multiple state qualifiers in both the team and individual events. She has a long history of dedicated service to her alma mater, having also previously coached basketball and swimming during her 30-year career as a physical education teacher. Miller is well known for her loyalty and commitment to Boone County High School. Her blend of experience, enthusiasm and knowledge make her a great fit for the position.
