Boone County High School is excited to announce that the next girls basketball coach will be Marcus Harris. Harris has a decade of high school basketball coaching experience, most of it in successful girls programs at Scott, St. Henry, Notre Dame and Holy Cross. He comes to Boone County after leading an inexperienced Newport girls basketball team to an impressive late season surge where he was praised for his player development and relationship building. Those who know Coach Harris praise him for his contagious positivity, his knowledge of the game, and his genuine passion for helping young people chase their goals.
