This Friday night we ran at the BGSU invitational. The meet ended up being a very slow meet overall. Many runners from other teams ran 45 seconds to well over 2 minutes slower then what they had just done last weekend. I'm happy to say that at least our night wasn't that bad. We had some slower times then previous weeks, but they were all pretty comparable to where we have been and maybe only 30 seconds or so slower. Anyone who has raced alot or has even done alot of running will tell you that its more difficult to run in heat, but that humidity can make everything so much harder to run. With the heat and humidity things were stacked against all the runners, and yet we still had some great performances. Huge shoutout to Luke Weins who somehow still managed to put together a PR performance. When you look at all the teams there weren't many runners with a PR next to their time, so big congrats to Luke. Leading the team for the third time this year was Cameron Varner who still ran a very fast time of 16:40 and ended up on the podium. Second on the team was Jack Fulop followed by Logan Thomas who both finished in the 18's. Rounding out the top 7 were Riley Matthews, Connor Dazell, Maks McKibben, and Leland Ziegler.
