The Bedford boys track and field team had a memorable regional championships Friday at Saline. There were many state qualifiers, medalists, and All Region performances. The boys team placed 3rd of 15 with 79.5 points. Here are the state qualifiers: Regional Champion-800m-Maddi Duke-1:54.70-PR 2nd-110m Hurdles-AJ Varner-14.73-PR 2nd-Discus-Masyn Moran-135’7”-PR 2nd-4x800m relay-Cameron Varner, Logan Thomas, Dane Hieronimus, Maddi Duke-8:04.86 4th-4x400m relay-Brandon McCloud, Logan Thomas, Bryce McCloud, Maddi Duke-3:25.72-PR School Record The 4x200m relay team of Youssif Jomaa, Gavin Tegtmeyer, Brandon McCloud, and Bryce McCloud ran a school record time of 1:30.55. This time ties the previous school record set by Anthony Pisanti, Noah Scheffer, Colin Chevalier, and Brandon Thomas in 2019.
