Last night, your Vikings took on the Casspolis Rangers for another conference match-up. The Vikings came in with a lot of energy from winning the tournament, but it wasn't enough, as the Rangers were also coming in with intensity. The match opened up with the Rangers scoring first. Fortunately for the Vikings, Gio S. and Anthony V. linked up in the final third, and Anthony was able to find the back of the net just before half-time. After regrouping during halftime, the Vikings were able to capitalize on their relentless attacking. Captain Carlos V. shot from outside the box, giving us the lead 2-1. Unfortunately, fatigue and miscommunication affected the team with 5 minutes left in the game, giving the Rangers the equalizer off a corner and ending the game 2-2. Good job to all our players, and a shout-out to Ismael R. for keeping the game close with 5 saves. Our record now improves to 6-7-2, with our next game being today, September 29th, at Coloma.
