Bangor High School

The Middle School Football team went to Bridgman Tuesday afternoon and played hard, but lost 24 to 0. The Vipers were missing our two running backs for the game and had a hard time moving the ball against a tough Bridgman Bee defense. Noah Atkinson led our rushing attack with 18 yards followed by Tripper Boone with 15 yards. Josiah Merritt completed a fine pass with Micheal Merritt for 15 yards. The Defense looked good, except for 3 big plays they kept the Bees from moving all game. Josiah Merritt had a fumble recovery and an interception, and big defensive plays by Noah, Dustin Sieber, Roberto Mendez-Santiago and Weston Copen. The Vipers play again Wednesday September 23rd against Fennville at Bangor at 5:30 PM.
