Last night, the Vikings hit the road to Lawrence to take on the Tigers. What started as an awkward day turned into a long-awaited result! From the whistle, the Vikings dominated the passing game, making it difficult for the Tigers to keep up. The Vikings opened up the scoreboard, keeping us in the lead until a minor mistake led the Tigers to tie up the score. The Vikings answered back with 3 goals of their own before Lawrence found the back of the net again. The Vikings weren't finished and ended up fighting back with 2 goals. Slowly, we tried to wind down the clock, which cost us a couple of goals and ended the game in a 6-4 win. Carson Pullins came out with a hat trick and an assist. Aziel, Eduardo A., and Carlos V. chipped in with a goal each. Finally, Gio Soriano and Aziel both came out with an assist each as well. With this win, our record improves to 3-4-1. Come out and support your Vikings as we take on the Comstock Colts at home on Wednesday, September 16th, with a 6:30 pm start time!
