Our 8th-grade girls played a tough three-set match tonight. Even though we didn’t come out with a win, the improvement from last week was huge. I’m really proud of the effort and confidence they showed. Brey was on fire at the service line, getting all of her serves over with 7 of them being aces. Clarissa, Ophie, and Rylie also stepped up with strong serving tonight. A few girls pushed themselves outside of their comfort zone, and seeing them take those risks made me so proud. The team backed each other up, communicated well, and played with confidence from start to finish. Our next game is Wednesday, September 16th in Decatur at 6 PM. – Coach Carley
