Bangor High School

The Middle School Vipers faced off against the Twin City Sharks Wednesday afternoon and came up short 22 to 12. The game started off with Gavin Flagel taking the opening kickoff back for a touchdown and a 6-0 lead. We held on to the lead until right before halftime when the Sharks scored making it 8-6 at the Half. Twin City then took a long drive to begin the 2nd half in for another score, but the Vipers responded with a 54-yard touchdown run by Gavin Flagel to end the 3rd quarter making it 16-12. The 4th quarter was well played by both teams before Twin City scored their final touchdown late in the game to make the final score 22-12. The offense was led by Gavin Falgel with 93 yards rushing and 2 TD's and Micheal Merritt with 17 yards rushing. The Defense was anchored with great plays by Noah Atckinson, Tripper Boone, Weston Copen and Jullian Harris. The Vipers travel to Bridgman on Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 PM, come watch their growth
