Bangor vs. Buchanan Thursday evening, the Vikings traveled to play vs the Buchanan Bucks. Right from the start, the game looked like it would be a fight for a win. After each attack, both teams would find a way to make dangerous counters. The Vikings had many scoring opportunities, but we could not find our finesse. Buchanan, on the other hand, came out clinically, and unfortunately, our Vikings fell to the Bucks in the end, 4-1. Eduardo Alcaraz was our lone goal scorer of the night. Overall, the team keeps on finding good chances and is looking promising for the rest of the season. Bangor vs Niles Brandywine Last night, the Vikings took on the Brandywine Bobcats on their home turf. What started as a slow game quickly turned into a back-and-forth battle. Bangor took the lead with senior Carlos Villalobos shooting from outside the box. Unfortunately, the Bobcats answered with two goals of their own, making the score 2-1. Fortunately, Carson Pullins pulled through to tie it up. One last attack from the Bobcats made the score 3-2, but Gio Soriano managed to slip one through to tie the game up again and end it in a draw. Shoutout to Carlos and Aziel Calderon for chipping in with the assists. Although the game ended in a draw, the team keeps on taking steps in the right direction! Today we go on to play away vs the Cassopolis Rangers at 5:00 pm. Come out and show your support! Our record now stands at 2-3-1.
