The varsity softball team fought a tough battle tonight, 23 April 2026. With four strikeouts in the first game, #18 Cassidy Ruiz’s, arm was on fire! Hustling behind the plate with three pop fly catches #2 Eva Daniels. The team had some outstanding hits by #19 Braelin Whitehead with multiple doubles, #12 Ariana Townsend with triple, #9 Maddie Baker with two triples, and #20 Alyvia Williams with a double bringing in three runners. The team worked hard, gaining run after run by stealing bases and getting multiple RBIs. Pop fly catches and double plays by # Shakiya Suel and Cassidy Ruiz, as well as Arianna Townsend and Alyvia Williams were some highlights of the night! Diving for every ball and sliding into home the Varsity Softball beavers fought hard!! Two awards for the night. First award the Gumby award to Alyvia Williams with her amazing Gumby be like stretching reaching for every ball, and the second award the Hustle award, to Eva Daniels for the constant hustle behind the plate and multiple catches!
