This past Friday our track had its first track meet of the year at the bridgman invitational. The Beavers had some outstanding performers: Elijah Marlow finished 2nd in the 100 m 3rd 200m; Devin Hill finished 5th in the 100 and 5th in the 200; A'Darion Fort finished 6th in 100 and 7th 200; DaQuarius Travis finished 6th in long jump and the 400m; and J'son Hamilton  finished 4th in shot putt. The boys 4x100 made up of Marlow, Hill, Fort and Chris Branch finished 4th; the 4x200 team ran with Marlow, Hill, Fort, and Travis finished 2nd. The boys team finished 4th overall out of 13 teams. On the girls side Mila Jeffries finished 5th in 100 and 7th in the 200. The girls 4x100 finished 4th with the team: Nickya Fort, Arianna Townsend, Chastelyn Cortez.and Mila Jeffries. All of our other kids had great times and throws to start the season . It was a great day to be a Beaver.
