Aquinas Academy Athletics is expanding its digital presence with the launch of a new Instagram account, @aquinascrusaders, dedicated to highlighting Crusader Athletics and the accomplishments of Aquinas student-athletes. The account will provide coverage of all Aquinas Academy high school varsity sports, giving students, parents, alumni, and fans another way to follow the Crusaders throughout the school year. Content will include game-day updates, scores and results, photos and videos, student-athlete features, program accomplishments, schedules, and other news from Aquinas Athletics. The new account will be managed by Fr. Deacon Andrew Kurzawski, who also serves as the head coach of the Aquinas Academy high school girls basketball team. “We are continuing to look for ways to take the way we tell our athletic stories to the next level,” Kurzawski said. “As a small Catholic school, we know that we aren’t always going to receive the same amount of media coverage as some of the larger schools in our area. But we have outstanding student-athletes doing great things in competition, in the classroom, and in our community. We are excited to have another platform where we can tell those stories ourselves.” The Instagram launch is part of a broader effort by Aquinas Athletics to strengthen communication and provide greater recognition for its student-athletes and athletic programs. “Our students accomplish some incredible things,” Kurzawski added. “Many of them compete in multiple varsity sports while maintaining high academic standards and being active in the life of our school, Church, and community. Those are stories worth sharing, and we want people to see what makes being a student-athlete at Aquinas special.” Fans are encouraged to follow @aquinascrusaders on Instagram and help spread the word as Aquinas Athletics prepares for another exciting year of Crusader competition.
