The Lincoln-King Eagles opened the season with a 38-13 road win vs Royal Oak High School. Senior Saron Beeman led the offense with 16 carries, 218 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Senior DaShaun Green led the defense with 7 Tackles, 2 Solo Tackles, 4 Tackles For Loss and 2 Sacks. The Eagles start the football season 1-0 for the second season in a row and are looking to make history next week by being 2-0 for the first time in school history in their Week 2 home opener vs. Old Redford Academy September 6th at University Detroit Mercy at 7 PM.
