TCC Volleyball: Saints fought but ultimately fell to the Tigers

The TCC Saints put up a fight on Thursday night but ultimately fell to the Tigers in straight sets, 20-25, 21-25, 19-25. Senior Khloe Trivoli led the offense with a powerful performance at the net, finishing with 13 kills and 3 blocks. Her presence helped keep the Saints within striking distance in all three sets. Jess Selinsky turned in a strong all-around effort, racking up 16 assists and 16 digs to anchor both the offense and defense. Miya Olson also played a key role in the back row, recording 12 digs as the Saints worked to handle the Tigers’ attack. Nora Jackson added 6 kills and 2 aces, while Ryann Walker contributed 7 digs. Wynter Hayes followed closely with 6 digs, keeping rallies alive. Angel McConnell, Bella Milburn, and Suzanna Sica Calel each added defensive support with solid play in the backcourt. With strong individual performances and continued growth as a unit, the team looks to bounce back in their next outing. The JV also fell short 17-25, 25-23, 9-25. Leading the JV was Addi Meryo with 5 kills, 5 assists, and 11 digs, while Suzanna Sica Calel, Lynsie Tienarend, Tessa Williams all contributed 2 aces each.
