TCC Volleyball: Saints Outlast Buckeye Trail in Five-Set Thriller

In a hard-fought, back-and-forth battle, TCC Saints outlast Buckeye Trail in five sets on Thursday night with scores of 25-20, 26-24, 16-25, 22-25, and 15-12. The Saints showed resilience and grit, bouncing back in the decisive fifth set after dropping the third and fourth sets. Leading the way for TCC was Khloe Trivoli, who delivered a standout performance with 20 kills, 3 blocks, and 19 digs, impacting all areas of the court. Miya Olson also made her presence felt at the net and in the back row, adding 10 kills, 3 blocks, and 14 digs to the stat sheet. Setter Jess Selinsky orchestrated the offense with precision, dishing out 25 assists to go along with 8 kills and 13 digs. Defensive specialists Ryann Walker and Nora Jackson anchored the back row, recording 18 and 17 digs respectively. Walker also tallied 5 aces, while Jackson contributed 6 aces and 7 assists. Up front, Bella Milburn and Wynter Hayes added to the defensive effort. Milburn chipped in 3 digs and 2 blocks, while Hayes added 5 digs in the tight contest. The JV fell short to the Warriors (11-25, 16-25). Leading the JV was Bella Milburn with 5 kills, Lynsie Tienarend with 6 assists, and Suzanna Sica Calel with 11 digs. The Saints improve their record to 7-2 (3-1) as they travel to West Branch on Saturday with the JV starting at 11.
